Mitsubishi montero sport 1999, 59200 miles: engine shuts down completely after heating up to operating range wont start until it has cooled off. Check engine light stays on.

Pierre: You need to have your car coded. You have either a sensor or sensors out. Or your computer has a problem. But so the check engine light. Got an AutoZone close by? They will code your car for free, once you find out what sensor or sensors that is out. Fix it, the light will go off and the car should do much better. Hope this helps and good luck!
