Mitsubishi Repair: how to date engines, mitsubishi engine, model number

Hi Linda,

Is there any way to date a Mitsubishi engine by numbers, serial numbers, etc.?  I understand the model number system already.

JC: You need to get a repair manual for your car, can buy one at any parts store for around $20.00. It has a page in the front if you get a Haynes that will explain all that to you. Each car is different for the spots that they have put out these things and so you will need a manual for whatever your car is, year and model. Hope this helps and good luck!
