Cigarette lighter is not working-checked fuse-okay-is there a relay for the lighter-or do we need a whole new base?  Thanks

If you have a simple voltmeter, and can remove the cigarette light socket enough to get to the wiring, you can check the voltage at the connection.  If you detect 12 volts at the connection, but the lighter does not work, you'll need a new lighter socket.  If you do not detect any voltage even at the connection, then there is a problem somewhere else in the circuit; which you'd need to trace back until you find the break.
