Mitsubishi Repair: engine control fuse, engine computer, auto zone

i keep on blowing my engine control fuse, what could be causeing that?

Hi Dustin,

It could be a wire grounding out somewhere but it sound's to me like you have an ECU problem. If it's an early model Mits., they're known to have problems with the Engine Computer. I recommend you take it by an Auto Zone and have them code your car. They, and possibly others, can tell you what problems your computer may have recorded and can test your sensors and ECU. As you didn't specify what year, make or model your vehicle was I can't go into much more detail.
