my wiper motor works....but the wipers stop in different areas in the windshield.... is that the problem with the column steering wheel switch?..   hope you can help...thank you in advance.... georgio

I would have the control switch for the windshield wipers inspected.  But it can't hurt to have the wiper motor inspected.  Your mechanic can directly hook up a 12 volt source to the motor and test to see if it goes back and forth normally.  But there's a good chance it's the switch and should be inspected.
