Mitsubishi Repair: Heater slow to heat., thermostat, couple of minutes

Question
I have a 97 Eclipse RS manual and the heater is luke warm when the engine is at operating temp? Fluid level is correct and the car runs fine other wise? Any ideas?

Your thermostat needs to be replaced.  If you notice your temperature gauage takes more than a couple of minutes to reach normal operating temperature, then your thermostat is not working properly; properly stuck up.  It's an easy and inexpensive fix for most mechanics.
