Mitsubishi Repair: motor, auto salvage yard, advanced auto parts

i have a mitsubishi galant es 97 and i was just wondering if u knew were i could find a idle control motor or were i can get it repaird mine has gone bad and its making my car shake and the rpms go up and down when im in park so if u could give me some info i would appreciate it thanks

I believe Mitsubishi refers to that part as the 'Throttle Idle Speed Control, Servo Kit'.  It's part number is MD614698.  You can get it from the dealership for between $220-$275.  The part is also available at Advanced Auto Parts for about $400; which is strange because typically aftermarket parts are less than factory parts.

But if you're lucky enough, you can find a used one from your local auto salvage yard or even on eBay.  This part is the same from 1994-1998 Galants.  I'm not familiar of any places that services them directly for the public.
