 I would guess you could get a rebuilt engine for around $1800-$2400.  And that price all depends on where you get it from, shipping costs, and core deposit.  If you're just looking for a used engine, you can all around to various auto salvage yards in your area and ask if they have any engines for your truck there.  A used one may go for about $600-$1000, depending on it's condition.
