Motorcycle Repair: 1990 heritage softail

Hello I have a 1990 heritage softail which I just rebuilt the oil pump and I feed to the pump but not sure if I have flow.  When I remove the oil cap the oil is still stationary.  What next??  Thanks, Mike

To be Honest I am not sure. You can disconnect an oil line from some where on the engine and see if you have flow.
I know most times you have to prime the oil pump by packing it with Vaseline to get it to begin to pump.
I think there are small oil lines going to several different parts of the engine.
Be careful with it until your sure shes pumping. There is also a way to check the oil pressure. Check for this procedure on www.youtube.com
