How do u set the throttle position sensor?

Hi Peter,

Set your multimeter on "20k" setting.

Check the "k" ohms between the top and bottom
TPS pins, it should be between 3.5K and 6.5K ohms.

Next check between the top and middle pins with the
**throttle held wide open**
It should be between 2.66k and 4.94k ohms.
If not loosen the TPS and turn it until you get the right reading.

The second reading is 76% of the first reading.

Remember to open and hold  the throttle all the way when checking, engine off of course.

Note:
These ohms readings are in "thousands" or "K" so 3.5k is like 3.5 thousand ohms not 3.5 ohms.
