Hi Candace,
Set the rotor timing mark on "T"
The intake and exhaust gears are
marked with "in" and "ex"
Align the "in" mark or line with
the top of the cylinder head facing
backward.
Do the same with the "ex" line,
facing frontward.

Double and triple check it by turning the engine by hand slowly
to prevent damage.
The chain should be tensioned and marks checked again
with the "T" aligned on the rotor.
