Could you, please, tell me what the torque should be for a 1982 Honda Nighthawk?  Thank you!

Nancy, I would just tighten them down as hard as I can, normally, by hand. You didn't mention what flavor Nighthawk you have, as they made several models using the Nighthawk label.... 450, 650, 750.

I don't have any factory manuals showing the bolt size/torque for that bike in my library.

The torque just keeps the sprocket nuts attached to the bolts. The actual forces on the sprocket are lateral from on/off throttle conditions.
