Motorcycle Repair: Clutch Cable on 1977 Suzuki gs400x, bikebandit com, clutch cable

Terry - had to replace lever and now clutch cable too short - tried to follow cable so i can adjust but goes under fuel tank.......question:  how easy is it to remove the fuel tank?  Can you give me a short and sweet version of how to remove

Unfortunately I am not able to give a "short and sweet" explanation. I suggest you consult a service manual or at minimum a diagram of the bike/assembly. You can look at one source of information here. Assistance from someone knowledgeable will be your best venue.
