QuestionI have recently aquired a Honda Dream. Early 60's model. I am in the process of restoring it. My problem is: No one knows for sure what year and engine size it is. - Since I am learning as I go...I am wondering if there is a simple way to figure it out so I can get started on ordering parts??
AnswerKarlain, if you give me the serial numbers, I can give you a pretty good idea of when it was built.
Shameless plug:
I sell Restoration guide CDs with 1200 pages of Dream information from my website.
If the engine number starts with CA77, it is a 305cc Dream
If the engine number starts with CA72, it is a 250cc Dream
If the engine number is CA95 it is NOT a DREAM, but it is a Benly 150, which looks like a 7/8 scale Dream.
If the engine says, A160, it is a CA160, which was a continuation of the Benly series.
