QUESTION: how do I do a value adjustment on my 74 fxe shovelhead

ANSWER: Do you have hydrolic or solid lifters?

Go to the front exhaust and remove the pushrod clip and rotate the motor until the pushrod is all the way at the bottom of the stroke. Now, loosen the locknut and adjust the pushrod until you can just turn it between your fingers. Tighten the locknut and do this for each one.
