Questionhey gary I have a question I have a 1999 ninja EX250 that I just installed a rebuilt motor from a 98 ninja EX250 I was wondering would I have to change the CDI BOX to correct the mapping for the 98 motor or what thanks jason
AnswerJason,The CDI is the same for both so you should'nt have to do anything. The part number for the Canadian and United States unit is 21119-0010 but the California version is different part# 21119-0012 and may not work. Check the VIN and see if there is any indication the bike is a Cal unit if not in will probably work.
