ANSWER: the best thing you can do is change the cam to a higher lift cam that will flow better as well as have some head work done or install S&S heads.
Good luck and happy riding

QUESTION: thx since i last mailed you ive found out that the top end has been done....i just dont know exactly what ,so looks like im gonna take apart this winter and find out . few people have advised me not to touch anything when theres nothing wrong and that i might be dissappointed finding its not the same / as good as previous i dont understand ,.... if work is done proper , there should be only benefits no? really thinkin bout wide tire kit also (200 240) any advice on to do or not to do ...if theres one kit superior to others do s or donts? any advice appreciated also wanna know if 2 into one tuned pipe makes noticable hp diference am i losing power with porker pipes (no baffles) is there better plugs? hotter / colder
AnswerLots of questions! LOL
As long as the work is done correctly you are right. There will be benifits. If you are happy with the performance then dont do anything, but if your looking for more then you will have to make changes.
If your looking for a wide tire I would go with the 200 tires. Less changes have to be made. I am not to up on all the kits so its hard for me to recommend one.
The 2 into one pipes will give you more power. Right now, with your pipes, you are loosing power in midrange. Midrange is where you ride most of the time. I have had great success with Champion plugs and you dont need a hotter or colder plug
