Motorcycle Repair: HD FLHS, intermediate jet, intake leak

QUESTION: I have a HD 1989 FLHS and its spitting and sputtering when I give it gas, but on a idle its fine

ANSWER: Is this somthing new or have you made changes to the bike? Pull the spark plugs and let me know what color they are

Sounds like you either have a intake leak or your intermediate jet is slightly plugged. You can check the intake by starting the the  bike  and spray a little carb cleaner around the intake. If the RPMs go up, then you have a leak
