QuestionQUESTION: I got the bike as a basket case,butchered wiring,missing stator cover/shifter hardware,ect.
I have gone through great lengths to get the bike where it is now.
After somewhere in the $400-$500 spent on parts, this old critter shredded one of it's two clutch friction plates.
It is a 80cc Fuji engine with a 4speed full manual tranny.
I drained the oil and pulled the clutch basket, got it open.
Heres where things get difficult, the clutch has 6springs,two steel plates, and two friction plates.
I cannot find the style of either sets of plates for that specific clutch, and it only requires the friction plates be changed.
Any ideas?Am I going to have to change & update the whole basket?
Or do you know where I can find an exact replacement?
