Motorcycle Repair: overheating, honda cbx, thermal switch

I know work on Honda cbx bike. While riding my motorcycle bike on Friday, my bike began to overheat, so  I put a new thermostat on sun. so I ride it  to work today and it overheated again. My fan is not coming  on. My motorcycle is a 2002Honda 1100 Shadow.

If the fan is not coming on, it is either due to a faulty fan or a faulty switch.  In the radiator is a thermal switch.  If you disconnect the switch and short the wires together with the ignition on, does the fan come on?  If it does, replace the switch, if it doesn't, then check for a power supply to the fan (fuses) and the fan itself.  Good luck,  Jan
