QuestionJan, I've not been sitting still since my last question and after cleaning, tightening and refitting the existing spark plug and cap, nr 6 cylinder is back again. Nr. 1 still 'hesitating' to join.
Apart from your welcomed answer, I guess that also the 7 year old battery as well as new sparkplugs (maybe Iridium?) might need to be taken into account to be replaced? I do not have any experience to what extend an aging CBX will show 'wear'.
Forgot to say in my previous mail that I've only driven the CBX 3 times last year. The old Dutch proverb "Rest rusts" might be valid :-)?
Regards
Henk
AnswerHi Henk,
Rust Roest inderdaad... Now you have only 1 cylinder 'out' so that reduces things to the spark plug lead or the plug. A new set of plugs is probably not a bad idea, in the US we use NGK d8ea, which are fine for normal use. If the battery still holds a charge and turns over the engine, it will not give you a problem like you describe, but old plugs might. Good luck, Jan
