Motorcycle Repair: Clarion II CB Radio, cb radio repair, honda gl1100

Question
I recently replaced my type II AM/FM CB radio.  New one works fine but the fuse for the CB keeps blowing.  Have isolated problem to the CB Module which is located behind the fairing on the right side.  I think the p/n is JC-209E.  Can't find it in parts manual for my bike (1983 Honda GL1100 Aspencade).  Not having any luck finding it on any web site.  Can you help?

Hi Bob,

All I can think of is eBay and motorcycle
wreckers as these Clarion parts were
hard to get even when the bikes were new.

I would try finding a good cb radio repair man
and see if they could help.

That's about all I have on Clarion 1-2
as they are almost thirty years old now.

Sorry I couldn't be more help but maybe
you can get it repaired or replaced with newer
equipment if all else fails.
