Motorcycle Repair: front forks, fork tubes, bill silver

I have put 4+ fork tubes on my 77 CB750 and was wondering how much fork oil is supposed to be put in.

Bill, I guess you have to calculate the interior volume of the tubes and add that to the OEM spec level, huh?

Otherwise, a rule of thumb is to add oil to about 6-7" from the top of the tube (forks collapsed with no springs inside).
