Motorcycle Repair: hi beam not working, suzuki rf600r, left hand side

i have a suzuki rf600r,the hi beam is not working,bulb ok,open the left hand side cover open on handle bar,and when i put a test on the pass switch it give out a reading that it is live when pushed in,,but still got no reading when it gose to the bulb end,,

Hello Jason,

I believe these models have the lights going
through some fuses before reaching the bulb.

Check on both sides of the headlight fuses for power
with your test light.

Even though you have power to the passing switch
it still has to make it's way to the bulb
through  the fuse.

Low beam and high beam each have their own fuse.

Also verify the ground circuit when testing.
