Motorcycle Repair: setting float valve hight, float valve, furthest edge

what is the procedure for setting the the float valve/float hight on this carb?

Answer
Float height is 14.5mm setting.

The height is measured from the carburetor base to the furthest edge of the float, while the float tang/tab just closes the float valve needle, but does NOT compress the spring-loaded float valve needle tip.

It looks like the float needle is captured by the float and that the float is all plastic and not adjustable. If there is a metal tang on the middle of the float, then you can adjust it. Otherwise, it is not adjustable.
