can you tell me the location of points and possibly how to
replace them

The points, if the bike has them, is located under the round cover on the cam cover. Your bike came with electronic ignition. To replace them you remove the hold down screw and install the new ones. rotoate the motor so the lobe is at its high point on the points and set them at .018
