AnswerGuinel... the carburetors need an overhaul, as well as checking the whole fuel system for old gasoline deposits and varnish.
After 3 years, all the idle jets are plugged up and there is a lot of gummy stuff in the float bowls.
Hopefully, you installed a new battery, as well. I think they used a transistorized ignition system that needs a fully charged battery to run.
Big concerns are carburetor, fuel tank, fuel petcock, fuel lines that must be cleaned first.
