Motorcycle Repair: engine dies, bill silver, switch connections

sharp turn of front wheel engine kills.strighten front wheel 2in to center engine will fire right up.acts like a kill switch.

Richard.... a little mention of year make and model would have been helpful.

If your bike has an ignition switch mounted up on the handlebars, most likely the switch base is working loose. Honda has repair kits for some of the 70-80s models.

Other possibilities are that cables are pulling against electrical connections when the handlebars are being turned.

Check the ignition switch connections first, then go under the fuel tank to check for other options.
