how do i test coil wires and timing

Answer
To set the timing you need a timing light and a clear timing hole plug. Install the timing hole plug and attach the timing light to the front plug wire. Start the bike and looking through the timing hole, look for the timing line on the flywheel. If you dont see it then you have loosen the timing plate, located in the cam cover, and while looking through the timing hole slowly turn it.
When you say testing the coil wires, which wires are you refering to? the spark plug wires?
