Motorcycle Repair: 05 Sportster 883 Low, question thanks, air cleaner

QUESTION: I bought a used 05 Sportster 883 Low with only 400 miles on it for my wife. The problem is - It poppes through the carb at any speed at any idel, cold, hot doesn't matter.  Thanks    Jeff

ANSWER: Is there any modifications to the bike, like hi-flo air cleaner, exhaust ECT?

Answer
Pull the plugs and see if they are getting fouled. If they are black and sootly then they are fouling and you need to OHMs test the coil to make sure its good. If the plugs are ok the you need to check the intake gaskets and make sure they are not leaking
