Motorcycle Repair: blinkers, turn signal switch, harley dealer

92 harley ultra, stock lights and blinkers, when you push button you can here click through speakers like switch is working  but no blinkers  if you keep pushing it they will sooner or later start working  then work fine and all of a sudden stop again, if riding you never know if there going to work next time,  i spliced into ground wire on module in case it wasnt getting good ground  but made no difference,  when there working you barly touch button and they work fine,  shut all lights off in garage and didnt see a spark nowhere  do have any idea  harley dealer told me a modul either works or dont  that was my first thought a bad module  thanks  for your help  Bill

I would start by checking the turn signal switch on the handlebars. With a test light, check to see if you have power on both sides of the button when you press it. The test the wire going to the module and see if you have power going to it. Next, check to see if you have power coming out of the module. If you have power going on and none going out then the module is bad.
