Motorcycle Repair: 89 custom softail, good luck, tank

What steps do I take before starting my softail after sitting for 2 years

Answer
Start by draining the fuel out of the tank and putting in fresh. I would pull the carb and remove the bowl and make sure its clean. make usre hte battery is charged. Start the bike and let it run until its warm and then shut if off and change the fluids
