Motorcycle Repair: harley clutch cable, clutch cable, clutch lever

QUESTION: i replaced my clutch cable and now the bike fills like its in gear when the clutch is pulled in its a 2008 fatboy

ANSWER: Did you adjust the clutch as well as the cable?

QUESTION: no i diddnt touch the clutch just adjusted the cable the clutch was working fine before i just put on bigger handlebars should i adjust the clutch? i thought if you only changed the cable you shoulndt have to adjust the clutch

Go ahead and adjust the clutch. Before you do that put alot of slack in the cable and then adjust it. Then adjust the cable so you have about 1/8 inch play in the clutch lever and see if that doesnt solve your problem. If you are still having trouble let me know.
