Motorcycle Repair: winter riding, fuel additives, electrical connections

what is the best thing i can do to help my carburated bike start better in the winter besides fuel additives

Answer
Make sure the bike is in good order, electrically as well as having fresh fuel.  A good spark and good compression as well as fuel is needed to get the engine to fire easily.  Ensure all the switches are making good contact and all your electrical connections are clean.
