QuestionMy Magna starts and idles and revs great. But after about a minute or so it just shuts off. If I wait 20 mins or so it starts right back up. What could the problem be?

It is helpful for you to check what you have and don't have when the bike quits....
Does it still have fuel? Does it have spark? How much choke do you use when starting the engine and letting it warm up?
Could have a problem with the fuel cut relay http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-vf750c-v45-magna-1982-us_model761/partslist/F++18.htm... #18 if you are running out of fuel and/or the fuel pump may be failing, itself. Has the fuel filter been replaced?
Losing spark is generally related to the pulse coils down by the alternator or the spark units, mounted back on the rear fender, under the seat. http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-vf750c-v45-magna-1982-us_model761/partslist/F++26.htm... #1

Other issues can be coils/spark plug connectors. Be sure that the charging system is fully operable and that the battery is fully charged. It is a voltage sensitive ignition system.
