Motorcycle Repair: seat pan, honda cb900 custom, honda cb1100f

Hi, I am looking for a seat pan for my husband's 1982 Honda CB900 Custom. I have searched the net and can't seem to find one, I even went to my local Honda bike/ATV dealer and they had no idea what a seat pan is...please help. I bought him this nice saddleman seat for Father's day and his pan is broke and can't hold the new seat.

Or you can try the swapmeets for items like that.
