Motorcycle Repair: 81 honda cb750 hoses, honda cb750, carbs

my problem is im new too bikes and got the fever my bike was backfiring and shutting down after about a quarter mile ride i was told to clean the carbs so i did now i cant get the hoses back in the right spot is there any where to find a diagram on how to get my hoses back in line

Not sure which hoses you are referring to?  If you're new to bikes, get a digital camera and take a whole bunch of pictures of whatever you are going to work on so you have a record...  Do you have a service manual?  I'd get one of those first.  Good luck,  Jan
