Motorcycle Repair: New Honda Rebel Possibly Running Rich, honda rebel, cold mornings

I have a new (600 miles) 2008 Honda rebel.  When I start it, even on cold
mornings, I don't have to use the choke.  It starts right up.  Also, the idle is a
bit rough after it warms up.  So I suspect its running rich.  Is there a mixture
screw I can play with and close up a bit once the motorcycle is warm?  If so,
where  is the mixture screw located?

Hi Steve,
The bike is less than a year old and should still be under warranty.  Let the dealer take a look at it for you, this is not something that should be left for you to sort out.  I'd have a look at the spark plug and then decide if the mixture is off.  Good luck,  Jan
