you may or may not answer but here goes honda 750 magna dead cylinder  rough estimate on repair bike has 4 cylinders/ 4 carbs

It is worth establishing what the reason for the dead cylinder is.  If there is no compression; sometimes it is just a stuck valve (cheapest) but sometimes it is a broken rod/hole in piston/ (expensive)  Does it have compression?  Then it may just be a spark plug or a coil or a coil lead.
