Motorcycle Repair: stator kit, zip ties, stator

Question
I picked up a stator kit for my fxs.It,s non molded.It come with the mounting screws and four 4inch zip ties, What are the zip ties for. note screws and ties came in a sealed bag. Beats me!!

I am not sure why it came with zip ties. They are not used inside the primary, unless you have a newer stator which has a longer wire going to the regulator. If you do then its to attach the wires to the regulator so they are not hanging
