Motorcycle Repair: RPMS, honda magna, drain pipe

WHAT WOULD BE A IDEAL IDLE RPM FOR A 1998 HONDA MAGNA ?????

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been out in the yard burying a drain pipe.  I'd set the idle around 1000 rpm or what sounds good to you.  I like a low idle speed myself so I set may bikes to just less that 1000 rpm but that's me.
