Motorcycle Repair: honda CT 70, honda ct 70, float bowl

Hello. I believe the bike is around the early seventies. My question is one the side of the carb there is a drain screw. (I don't no the technical name for it.) The drain keeps dripping gas when it is closed. It drips slowley and of course quicker when I open it. There is a o ring on the screw. Any ideas. Thanks

Mark, that's probably the float bowl drain.  The o-ring doesn't make the seal.  There's a tapered point to the screw and that tightens up in a seat inside the carb bowl.  THere's probably rust or dirt or possibly corrosion in the seat that prevents it from sealing.
