Motorcycle Repair: starter 2002 harley, harley softtail, clutch basket

I need to know what i have to do to change the starter on my 2002 harley softtail deuce

Answer
First, you need to remove the primary cover, with the oil drained and then the motor sprocket and clutch basket. Behind the clutch you will see the jackshaft. remove the bolt from it and remove the jackshaft. Go to the other side of the bike and remove the wire from the starter relay and the wire from the battery. At the front of the starter there will be two bolts holding it in. remove them and slide the starter out
