im putting in new fork seals but i dont know how much oil goes back in the forks

Neither do I. You should purchase a service manual for your bike, as it will have this information. You can find one here: http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcycles/

You could also call your local Honda motorcycle dealer and ask them; they can also tell you the exact type of oil to use.
