Motorcycle Repair: slip on exhaust, harley sportster, harley dealer

i have a harley sportster 09, can i just put a set of screeming eagle slip ons on with out changing air filter or reset compter. looking just to improve sound. thank you

I don't have a lot of experience on the newer sportsters but if it has a computer then you'll want to put on the slip ons that you like but also change the air filter to a high flow model then take it to a Harley dealer and have a stage 1 electrical module kit down loaded into your ECM. You can start the bike after your additions but get the down load done as soon as possible.
