Motorcycle Repair: taillights, vt500c, handle bars

i have a 1985 vt500c.  it has been converted to a trike.  the taillights quit
working.  blinkers and brake lights still work.  running lights work on the front
but not the back.  i cant find a fuse anywhere.  where might it be located?  if it
doesnt have one, what should i check.

Jason, have you checked the bulb?  I'm pretty sure the headlights and tail lights are on the same circuit so it's unlikely it's the fuse.  It could be a loose connection in the wiring harness.  Or it could be a corroded bulb socket.  The fuses are under the cover between the handle bars.
