hi i was just wondering when i turn my bike on when its cold it will run but i cant take it off choke it will die and when it warms up it dies i have adjust the carb before but it just dies what should i do?

It sounds like your carb needs a good cleaning and possibly a full rebuild.

If your carb has never been rebuilt (or not for a long time) it would probably be a good idea to rebuild it anyway - it realy doesn't take much longer than a thorough cleaning. The difference is basically that when you rebuild you replace all of the parts that have deteriorated with age or worn out.

Order a carb kit (it will have the rubber parts to replace the 31 year old stuff that has gone hard) and while you wait for it to arrive have a look at the info on carb cleaning at www.randakks.com That site is really geared to GL1000 & GL1100 GoldWing carbs (Randall is one of the top GoldWing restorers and carb specialists) but the same principles apply to all carbs.
