Motorcycle Repair: kz440 carburators, kawasaki kz440, overflow tube

I have a 1980 kawasaki kz440, on top of both carbs there is what looks to be a pleace for a vacume hose to go, where does this go to,and where does it come from? and on the bottom of the bowls, are they the over flow and where do they go to. thanks

#32 and #34 are both fuel inlet tubes so they should go to the petcock

#37 and #36 are fuel overflow tube which should run to the ground

There is also the nozzle labelled A which is not named in the fiche but I believe that is an air vent nozzle which must be left open.
