Motorcycle Repair: 1985 honda GW speedometer cables, speedometer cable, goldwing 1200

how do I change the speedometer cable on 1985 goldwing 1200?  ordered the part but have no installation instructions.  can anyone help?

If you look at the left hand side of the front axle, you will see a sending unit with a wire going up to the headlight.  That's the speedometer cable.  Remove the screw holding the sending unit to the drive and replace the cable.  When you replace the sending unit  don't over tighten the screw it can crack the plastic housing.
