hi can you tell me what kind of job is replacing the kickstart spindle and where i could find info on how to go about it thanks.

Ian, you have to split the crankcases to get to that shaft.  I wouldn't attempt it without a manual in hand unless you have had some experience taking Hondas apart.  It's not too difficult but you have to know something about how they come apart and go together to be successful.
